The Limestone Way passes through the village and in the months of June and July we have open gardens, flower festivals, well dressings amd carnival week.
In September we have a local architectural and heritage trail weekend.
We are close to all attractions including Matlock Bath, Chatsworth House, Carsington Water, Crich Tramway Museum, and minutes away from The Derwent Valley World Heritage Site.
We also have excellent local shopping outlets such as Masson Mill and Peak Village, Rowsley.
Further afield we have Alton Towers, Buxton, Dovedale, Denby Pottery visitors centre and we are in easy reach of Derby, Nottingham, Sheffield, and the lovely market town of Chesterfield with its famous twisted spire.
